Primary Therapist
Lora Kojovic MA, LMFT (CA 114066), CSAT Candidate (2020-3198), is a licensed marriage and family therapist and a certified sex addiction therapist candidate. Lora completed her master’s degree in clinical psychology at Antioch University Los Angeles. She is also trained in trauma treatment modalities EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and RITTM (Reconnect Integrative Trauma Treatment Model).
Lora is a primary therapist at Reconnect Integrative Trauma Treatment Center. Prior to joining the team at Reconnect Center, Lora was a primary therapist at Seeking Integrity Los Angeles, a treatment facility specializing in intimacy disorders, working with individuals impacted by sex, love, and/or porn addictions, chemsex (fusion of maladaptive drug use and sexual behavior), as well as sexual anorexia and love avoidance. In providing psychotherapy, Lora uses a holistic, interpersonal-neurobiology-based approach, in addition to attachment-focused, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and systemic approaches. Lora’s passion for the fields of intimacy disorders and trauma stems from her desire to facilitate integrative healing and help people realize their potential.
Additional academic and work background: Lora received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a double-major in finance and French. Her desire to study subjects comprehensively enabled her to graduate at the top of her class in both her graduate and undergraduate studies. Before her career in psychotherapy, Lora worked in investment banking in New York City and then in the film industry in Los Angeles.
