RITTM Philosophy
The philosophy of RITTM is that trauma creates a disconnect inside of a person. Trauma can make you feel disconnected from your body, from your emotions, from your mind, from friends and family, from God or spirituality—ultimately from who you truly are. The RITTM is based on the importance of reconnecting to yourself.
The training is delivered through a combination of lectures, client demonstrations, guided practice sessions with fellow students, case studies, and suggested readings. At the end of the training, you will have access to the videos of 15 client demonstrations. Once you have the RITTM certificate, we encourage you to apply to work at Reconnect Integrative Trauma TreatmentCenter in Pacific Palisades.
