Trauma Treatment Training
Reconnect Integrative Trauma Treatment Model (RITTM)
The Reconnect Integrative Trauma Treatment Model was born out of an integration of evidence-based, cutting-edge trauma treatment models. RITTM teaches the therapist to use an integration of the following modalities: EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic therapies, Gestalt, Energy Psychology, and Mindfulness. RITTM offers (more) resources and tools to clinicians to provide individualized, client-centered treatment and focusing on the person as a whole. While RITTM has structural components to it, it does not follow rigid protocols.
Objectives of the Training
- To introduce a body-mind integrative approach to trauma treatment.
- To teach specific tools to resource and stabilize patients before doing traumatic memory processing work.
- To teach techniques to process traumatic memories in the most safe, contained and somatic way.
- To empower the professionals to work with traumatized clients without getting burnt out.
