Job Description
SUMMARY
Provide mind body psychotherapy with adolescent and adult clients struggling with complex trauma, dissociative disorders, and attachment wounding in an intensive outpatient setting. All sessions are one on one; individual. Work collaboratively on client treatment with multidisciplinary team. Expand approach to treating complex trauma by participating in Reconnect’s extensive RITTM Trainings, DID Training, and Janina Fischer’s part work!
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clinical focus on resourcing and resolving trauma symptoms at a steady pace.
- Integration of RITTM grounding and resourcing tools for emotional regulation.
- Provide psychoeducation about trauma, the nervous system, window of tolerance.
- Completes necessary clinical documentation on EMR system (KIPU) such as session biopsychosocial assessment, treatment plan, progress notes, collateral notes, and discharge summary within 24 hours of session.
- Performs continuous assessment of client’s mental status for level of care appropriateness and possible risk behaviors.
- Participate in peer-to-peer insurance reviews to advocate for client’s treatment.
- Lead and liaison to other team members about progress, barriers and needs of clients.
- Required participation in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings Tuesdays from 1pm to 3pm PST (Currently over zoom).
- Attend trainings in RITTM, DID, and Janina Fisher
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
- MA, MSW, PsyD, or PhD in Psychology, Social Work, or related field required.
- Must be registered with the BBS or Board of Psychology. No trainees.
- Required two (2) years of professional experience in direct patient care in the mental health field, preferred experience with complex trauma.
- A plus if trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, Gestalt, Mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing, or Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.

- Master’s degree in related field such as psychology, sociology, kinesiology preferred for Somatic; assumed for Sensorimotor.
- Two years of professional experience in direct patient care in the mental health field which includes one year of experience working in a client admissions position.
- Excellent Internet/Computer skills

- Completes mandatory trainings.
- LMFT, LCSW, PsyD, or PhD required.
- BBS or Board of Psychology license required.

Massage Therapist
Job Title: Massage Therapist
Description:
Role and Responsibilities:
Massage therapists treat clients by using touch to manipulate the soft-tissues of the body. With their touch, therapists relieve pain, help rehabilitate injuries, improve circulation, relieve stress, increase relaxation, and aid in the general wellness of clients.
- Perform therapeutic massages of soft tissues and joints. May assist in the assessment of range of motion and muscle strength, or propose client therapy plans.
- Respond to clients’ comments and suggestions in a timely and professional manner
- Develop and propose client treatment plans that specify which types of massage are to be used.
- Confer with clients about their medical histories and problems with stress or pain to determine how massage will be most helpful.
- Provide clients with guidance on stretching, strengthening, overall relaxation, how to improve their posture, and body mechanics
- Document client’s condition and progress
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Education:
- Valid California Massage License
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 years in massage therapy recommended.
- CPR/AED certification

Licensed Group Facilitator
Job Title: Licensed Group Facilitator
Summary:
MUST BE LICENSED and have an S Corporation (S-Corp) OR A Professional Corporation (APC).
Provide group therapy with adult (and eventually adolescent) clients with complex trauma, dissociative disorders, and attachment wounding in an intensive outpatient setting. All groups are content driven (no process groups). Work collaboratively on client treatment with a multidisciplinary team. Opportunity to learn about trauma by participating in Reconnect extensive RITTM Trainings, DID Training, and Janina Fisher’s part work!
Role and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational classes.
- Clinical focus on grounded integrative community experience; uphold group rules, align with the RITTM philosophy (e.g., no processing of trauma in groups).
- Provide psychoeducation about trauma, the nervous system, window of tolerance and various other trauma related topics. Also provide some basic therapeutic groups such as DBT, mindfulness, emotional regulation, attachment, family systems, relationships, etc.
- Integration of RITTM grounding and resourcing tools for emotional regulation.
- Awareness of how each client utilizes RITTM resourcing and encouraging tools during group when needed.
- Perform continuous assessment of client’s mental status for possible risk behaviors.
- Required participation in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings Tuesdays from 1pm to 3pm PST (Currently over zoom).
- Completes necessary clinical documentation on EMR system (KIPU) such as group notes within 24 hours of session.
- Assists in the development of new groups when need arises and in the ongoing evaluation of programs.
