FAQ — Outpatient Program

Do you take insurance?

We can accept most PPO insurance plans, except Blue Shield. Our insurance coordinator will verify your benefits and obtain any necessary pre-authorization. We will submit the claim forms on your behalf.

How much does treatment cost?

The cost of your treatment will vary according to the program you enroll in and your length of stay. Please call our intake department at (310)713-6739 to get more information.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept cashier’s checks, wire transfers, and credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

How long is your program?

Our programs are a minimum of two weeks. Each client is individually evaluated each week by our clinical staff, and recommendations are made regarding the optimal length of stay.

Who will be providing treatment and how does that differ from other treatment programs?

The majority of our individual therapists are licensed clinicians at the master or doctoral level with a specialty in the treatment of trauma.

Most intensive treatment programs provide a variety of activities which are sometimes helpful, but don’t generally solve the problem. If the program offers the trauma resolution work, it is typically for only an hour or two per week. Thus the primary benefit of such programs is safety and stabilization.

At Reconnect, you are doing individual therapy, typically including trauma resolution work, all day long. For those who are safe and stable enough not to require inpatient confinement, the primary benefit of our program is healing and resolution of problems.

Can my family or spouse be included in my treatment?

At Reconnect, we encourage family participation in treatment, as is appropriate.

Can I visit your facility before committing to treatment?

We welcome all prospective clients and their families to visit our facility prior to admission. It is a very stressful and important decision to enter an intensive treatment program, and we strive to make that experience as safe and welcoming as possible. Please contact our office at (310) 713-6739.
